Unbroken Spirits by Joseph Carrillo
Joseph Carrillo is an independent photographer, filmmaker, and graphic artist inspired by his Pacific Islander and Native American heritage.
Through photography, film, and design, he uses visual storytelling to capture meaningful moments, explore cultural identity, and inspire deeper connection and understanding. This powerful photography exhibition depicts indigenous resilience, inner strength, and enduring lineage and migration through expressive form and material voice.
This exhibition is part of ArtxStitch’s (Studio 3) multi-gallery experience of concurrent exhibitions, running from July 3 through August 1, 2026, curated by Cherry Street Pier studio artist Duwenavue Santé Johnson.
