Chelsea Dalsey’s Room For Grief: Living with Loss in America
Experience Room For Grief, an immersive and interactive group exhibition featuring more than 100 artists and performers exploring grief, healing, and community through art. Free and open to the public.
Hosted at Cherry Street Pier, this powerful installation invites visitors to walk through “rooms” shaped by personal stories of loss, resilience, and remembrance. Through visual art, performance, film, spoken word, and shared experiences, the exhibition creates space for reflection and connection in a time when many are carrying grief in different forms.
Throughout June, visitors can also attend a series of special events, including a Death Cafe, film screenings, live performances, and community support gatherings.
Created by curator Chelsea Dalsey with support from C. Sage, Mandy, and Sonja Demonia, Room For Grief offers a thoughtful, community-centered experience along the Delaware River Waterfront.
