Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary through the lens of the Delaware River in this new exhibition by former Cherry Street Pier artist Caroline Stoughton. Free and open to the public. All ages welcome.

Now working between Philadelphia and Los Angeles, Stoughton creates immersive artwork inspired by the textures, movement, and natural beauty of the Delaware River. Using driftwood and other materials shaped by water and time, the exhibition reflects on the river as both a witness to history and a point of connection among people, places, and generations.

Through organic forms and layered textures, the installation explores themes of transformation, resilience, and the natural forces that continue to shape Philadelphia and the American story.

Experience this thoughtful waterfront exhibition where art, history, and nature come together at Cherry Street Pier.
