The use of color may be one of the simplest aspects of art while simultaneously presenting a challenge artists can grapple with for a lifetime. The 2024 cohort of artists at Cherry Street Pier spans a spectrum of mediums, styles, influences, and techniques, but the thoughtfulness in which they use color, or choose not to, stays consistent from studio to studio.
Prism offers a taste of what visitors will find if they explore the studios. Each piece offers a compelling peek into the body of work it represents.
