Opening Reception: Philadelphia Contemporary Present’s Jean Shin: “Freshwater”

Meet artist Jean Shin, enjoy light bites and cocktails, and get hands-on with screen-printing and art-making. And, stick around for the dance party from 8:30 pm to 10 pm, hosted by Rising Wing and featuring DJ Oluwafemi.

Freshwater by Jean Shin celebrates and pays tribute to the freshwater river mussel while asking us to consider our responsibilities towards the health of the river and its ecosystem. See the exhibition through November 6 at the Pier.
