We Are the Seed’s Native Courting Flute Workshop
Join artist-in-resident organization We Are the Seeds for a Native Courting Flute Workshop in Studio 16. Free and open to the public.
We Are the Seeds is creating space for Native and Non-Native individuals to learn from Tchin, an Indigenous Elder musician and culture bearer. Participants will learn to make and play the Native courting flute which has unique historical and cultural significance. They will also have the opportunity to spend quality time with Tchin, learning and having discussions together for cross-cultural understanding. By the end of the three sessions, participants will acquire a solid understanding of this art form.
