Walk Around Philadelphia: September Events at Cherry Street Pier
Explore Philly’s edges, one step at a time. Our programming partner, at Walk Around Philadelphia, are back at Cherry Street Pier this September with a series of free events that invite you to explore the city’s landscape, language, and stories—all while getting to know your neighbors and discovering new ways to connect with the city around you.
Walk Around Philadelphia is all about movement, community, and curiosity. Whether you’re joining a group walk or making your own art, these events offer a fun and meaningful way to experience Philadelphia from a new perspective. All walks are free and open to the public—registration required.
Cherry Street Pier program partner Walk Around Philadelphia creates cultural events that bring people together in shared experiences that connect them to their own bodies, their neighbors, and the landscape of Philadelphia.
The Fall iteration of Walk Around Philadelphia will run September 5-28, with registration opening in late July. If you sign up for all twelve segments, you’ll have walked over 100 miles around the entire city of Philadelphia! But you can absolutely start with just one segment or partial segment.
Find out more about our upcoming events & register at WalkAroundPhiladelphia.org.
