Time: 11 am to 7 pm

Celebrate Black love, joy, and creativity on the Philly waterfront. Join us for A Black Love Jawn—a vibrant, family-friendly celebration of Black culture, art, and community at Cherry Street Pier. Set against the backdrop of the Delaware River, this free event brings together Philly’s finest makers, musicians, and creatives for a day filled with love, pride, and purpose.

What to Expect:

  • 30+ local vendors selling handmade goods, fashion, artwork, and more

  • Live performances from Philly-based musicians, poets, dancers, and creatives

  • Live art and painting happening in real-time

  • Games, giveaways, and fun for all ages

  • Food and drink are available on-site

Whether you’re browsing unique handmade items, dancing to local sounds, or just soaking in the good vibes, this event is all about supporting Black artists, entrepreneurs, and storytellers who help shape the heartbeat of Philadelphia.

Don’t forget to stop by the second-floor gallery to see Joie Noire, a photography exhibition presented by the Thinker Maker Society on display through July 28.

Parking on-site will be limited due to I-95 CAP construction. However, many great ways to access the Waterfront include walking and biking along the Delaware River Trail, rideshare, and public transit.
