Join us for the Philadelphia Caribbean Festival, part of the PECO Multicultural Series, on August 18 at Cherry Street Pier and Race Street Pier from 12 to 8 p.m. The event is FREE and OPEN to the public.

Join us for the Philadelphia Caribbean Festival, featuring authentic island sounds of reggae, roots international beat, soca, cool jazz, steel band music, and creative dances complemented by a marketplace of Caribbean fashions, jewelry, and exotic cuisines. Plus, kids can participate in the Caribbean Children’s Village, featuring face painting, bead-making, balloon animals, bean bags, and other games.
The festival celebrates 14 Caribbean Islands. Enjoy live entertainment from across the Caribbean featuring Kenny Sykes (Jazz), WeUnited Band (Soca), Tabernacle Reggae Band, Riddem Nation Band (Roots Rock Reggae), HYCP Angels (Haitian Dance group), Bahamian Juliene Believe (Soca), Haitian 198th (Kompo music).
As always, the event will also feature the ever-popular steel drum music band Philly PanStars and Philly T&T Rhythm Makers at the Race Street Pier.
