Walk Around Philadelphia Exhibition 2023

June 16–September 23
2023
Location: Second-Floor Gallery
Time: Pier Operating Hours

Join us for The Walk Around Philadelphia Exhibit on display now through September 23 which features images from the city’s edge created by artists who’ve set out to explore the city’s border on foot alongside other works inspired by walking edges and margins. Free and open to the public. All ages.

Walk Around Philadelphia creates cultural events that bring people together in shared experiences that connect them to their own bodies, their neighbors, and the landscape of the city. Organized by artist JJ Tiziou, whose ‘How Philly Moves’ mural at the Philadelphia International Airport is the largest piece of public art in the city, the walk invites you to discover the city by exploring its edges.

Presented in the upstairs Gallery through September 23 in conjunction with the upcoming twelfth iteration of the perimeter walk, this exhibit shares glimpses from the furthest reaches of the city. Find more information including upcoming walking itineraries at www.walkaroundphiladelphia.com.
