DRWC Presents Tubachristmas

Sunday
December 17
2023
Location: Cherry Street Pier
Time: 2 pm to 3 pm

Join us as the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation (DRWC) Presents Tubachristmas on December 17 at Cherry Street Pier.

Classic Christmas songs touch the hearts of millions. Tubachristmas takes that sentimental feeling to the next level by showcasing 100+ tuba players performing the world’s most beloved holiday tunes.

Tubachristmas was founded by tuba virtuoso Harvey Phillips as an opportunity for performers on members of the tuba family (tubas, euphoniums, baritone horns, sousaphones, etc.) to gather and “blow in” the holiday season in glorious four-part harmony.

The event will be conducted by Jay Krush, artist-in-residence/lecturer in tuba and euphonium at the Boyer College of Music, Temple University, and tubist with the Grammy Award-winning Chestnut Brass Company and the Philadelphia Ballet Orchestra.

Don’t miss this festive performance on Sunday, December 17 at Cherry Street Pier. The event is free and open to the public. Cherry Street Pier is open 7 days a week, rain or shine.
