“This Is Our Story” Opening Reception by Acori Honzo
In this exhibition, Cherry Street Pier resident artist Acori Honzo approaches African-American history and the lived experience through his uniquely crafted sculptures of black heroes and icons.
“Provident Spaces” by Noel Wilmore
Provident Spaces is a showcase of Wilmore’s work spanning more than a decade, with many of the pieces created in the last two years making their debut at the Pier. The collection demonstrates Wilmore’s artistic approach, which utilizes unconventional materials to inform the work’s content.
