New Year’s Eve Kids Countdown with Fireworks

Get ready for a festive, fun, freestyling adventure at the New Year’s Eve Kids Countdown with Fireworks, presented in partnership with PopUp Play, at Cherry Street Pier.

Celebrate with activities such as designing your own NoiseMaker, painting a make and take 2020 picture frame and working lantern and paper stars, designing and racing your own life-sized cardboard car, building a robot, and adding your wishes for the future to a giant New Year’s ball, and more, all hosted by some of your favorite kid-friendly organizations.

Drink free hot chocolate and get a goodie bag with New Year’s Eve decorations and free ice skating tickets. Enjoy pay-as-you-go tasty eats, hot seasonal drinks, and an exciting countdown to the 6 pm Rivers Casino New Year’s Fireworks on the Waterfront after our NYE Countdown and “Ball un-drop.” There is no better way to ring in the New Year!


Kids under 12months are FREE

Ticket includes 1 free hot chocolate and NYE party essentials. PLUS,  each ticket comes with free skating admission to Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest (valid for any date starting January 1. Skate rental not included).

  • LIMITED PARKING AVAILABLE ON-SITE FOR NEW YEAR’S EVE. Parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis. We encourage visitors to take public transportation to the Waterfront, as many bus and train lines will be running on extended schedules. Check for more information.
